A Study on The Level of Video Game Addiction Among Adolescent Students of Urban Population
Abstract
The current study focuses on how loneliness and personality factors affect teenage video game addiction. The participants (N = 100) were drawn by the snowball sampling method from metropolitan areas and ranged in age from 13 to 19. Data were gathered using sociodemographics, the NEO Five Factor Inventory for personality, the UCLA Loneliness Scale, and the Gaming Addiction Scale. The data were statistically analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation. According to the ANOVA table, there is a statistically significant difference between the groups for high and low levels of video game addiction and loneliness, neuroticism and moderate and low levels, openness and high levels, and conscientiousness and low levels. The results table showed that low video game addiction had a significant link with consciousness (personality) while high video game addiction was significantly correlated with loneliness, neuroticism, and openness (personality). The Pearson's R table revealed a substantial link between high levels of gaming addiction and loneliness, while low levels of gaming addiction and loneliness also showed a significant correlation. Additionally, a substantial association was discovered between neuroticism and medium-level video game addiction. Additionally, a substantial association was discovered between conscientiousness and low video game addiction and between high video game addiction and openness.

Abstract

Diverse And Significant Contribution of Indian Women Freedom Fighters
Abstract
Women’s participation in Indian struggle has been immense yet invisible. During freedom struggle their efforts in and outside the confines of their homes was tremendous. Their efforts are however not depicted as they deserved to be. In their own different way, limited by social constraints their ways of contributing towards the freedom struggle were different and even un-noticed in many ways. Whether it was Non-Cooperation Movement, Civil Disobedience Movement or Quit India Movement they presence increased as we went through different phases of freedom struggle. There are various factors which are responsible for their little or insignificant mention in historical narratives. This might be due to various reasons such as their limited number in open revolt or resistance, societal constraints on their public life or them playing a subordinate role in the struggle. The huge research gap in this field provides ample scope for study and exploration. The present research paper aims to bridge this gap through a study of various available resources like published scholarly articles, books, journal papers, archival material and other relevant data. The research paper will primarily focus on collective efforts of women freedom fighters and their diverse ways of expressing nationalistic sentiments.

Remote sensing becomes useful because it provides synoptic view and multi-temporal Land uses / Land cover data that are often required. Nepal is mountainous and land-locked country with an area of 147,181 kilometers. However, remote sensing and GIS tools are being used only for the preparation of woody vegetation cover maps of the hilly areas to some extent for planners and decision-makers. This paper try to analyze GIS applications are tools that allow users to create interactive queries, analyze spatial information, edit data in maps, and present the results of all these operations.
